Your role: -

 

Service Desk Analyst (1st Line Support) will minimise the adverse effect on the service desk by ensuring that normal service is restored within defined service level agreements. The post holder will be responsible for 1st line incidents/requests using a ticket logging system, providing 1st line support, providing first class technical support/solutions and escalating calls where appropriate, working within an ITIL environment.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority are searching for an energetic and driven professional to fill their 1st Line Service Desk Analyst position. As part of their small team you will be responsible for providing 1st line support to employees, assisting them to troubleshoot software and hardware computer issues and mobile phone issues. The successful candidate will have some good technical understanding around the latest Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and general IT technologies, in return will get an excellent working environment and will receive varied and exciting challenges, this will include working across a number of locations working for both Fire service the wider Combined Authority.
