With this growth comes an increased reliance on third party suppliers to help TfGM to deliver its objectives, and consequently to ensure expenditure against these contracts deliver optimum value for the public purse. In this role you will lead on the operation and embedding of best practice contract management across the organisation as well as providing commercial assurance to business leads and the senior leadership team on the performance of a variety of current and future contracts.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and hardworking individual with the necessary experience and professional background to fulfil this role and become an important member of the TfGM establishment. Educated to degree level, you will have strong experience in, and knowledge of, the contract management lifecycle with extensive negotiation skills and will be conversant with various forms of contract agreement for Revenue and Capital work streams and programmes.

You will be confident in working with senior internal colleagues and external stakeholders and have the ability to influence behaviours and drive performance improvements. You will also have experience of building constructive relationships with providers whilst holding them to account and delivering value for money is critical.

The salary range for this role is £49,880 to £56,144. Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
