Your role: 

 

To support and deliver engaging community safety packages in an immersive environment and within the community, to prevent children and adults being harmed or killed in incidents involving fire, water, or road traffic collisions or becoming involved in fire crime and associated anti-social behaviour.

 

Part of role delivery is based at GMFRS Training and Safety Centre in Bury.  The Training and Safety Centre offers a unique and immersive environment to learn the key safety messages around safety and the prevention of fire.   Other delivery will be based across Greater Manchester different settings such as, schools, community centres and Fire Stations.

 

 

About you: 

 

We seek a highly motivated individuals to support and deliver our educational activities, build, and maintain professional relationships, as well as engaging with people across a wide variety of cultures. 

 

  • You will have experience in training, education, or Youth Work background.]
  • Experience of front facing delivery to a range of different groups in the community, including school children up to groups of 20 at one time.
  • To coordinate and deliver community safety packages within an immersive environment to support the reduction of risk to vulnerable groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills in a professional setting.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to challenges/issues.
  • To coordinate and deliver community safety packages within an immersive environment to support the reduction of risk to vulnerable groups and a variety of audiences.
  • This role includes working occasional evenings and weekends.
