TfGM’s Sustainable Journeys Team is offering a chance to fulfil these needs in delivering a high-profile area of the Mayor’s transport agenda.

TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information to make travel easier for everyone. We deliver high-profile, large-scale transport projects, and it’s our experts who provide the information and analysis to shape transport strategy. This is a busy and exciting time for us: under the devolution agreement and with Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in supporting growth and prosperity in the UK’s largest regional economy outside London.

In this role you will play a key role in monitoring the impact of TfGM’s sustainable journeys work programme ensuring we are delivering our activities according to the team’s work programme and to the requirements of our funders. Using data analysis skills you will help us to understand the value of our interventions and the changes needed to achieve greater impact. You will lead a small team to help deliver these key objectives. This is a challenging, fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference.

You will have experience of monitoring the delivery of projects or programmes, including ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will also understand how to interpret a range of data sources to analyse the impact of interventions.

The salary for this role is £40,555 - £45,646 per annum. Salary on appointment will be dependant on your skills and experience.
