Are you excited by the opportunity to be involved in the management of TfGM’s road transport fleet? Would you like the opportunity to ensure that all vehicles are maintained and operated in a safe and reliable condition? Are you keen to assist in TfGM’s Mission of ‘Making Travel Easier in Greater Manchester’?

Transport for Greater Manchester has a diverse fleet that supports a variety of services across Greater Manchester, this comprises of 144 buses that operate on a number of subsidised bus services including Yellow School Buses and 30 ancillary vehicles that support various operational areas. In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in the existing fleet that includes hybrid and full electric vehicles, and assist in researching and procuring new mobility solutions.

You will have experience in vehicle maintenance and management with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver planned activities to the required timescales, you will be self-motivated with a desire to achieve results. You will also have excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and without close supervision. For this role it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
