Your role

 

You will be working as a Project Manager in the GMCA Digital Team, and specifically, working to digitise Early Years services as part of the project team implementing innovative digital solutions across those services in Greater Manchester. The project is key to realising Greater Manchester’s ambition of achieving the national level of school readiness for the children of Greater Manchester.

 

About you

 

You will be an experienced Project Manager with significant experience in implementing digital and transformational projects across the public sector. You will be experienced in working cross-organisationally and to many different stakeholder groups and have demonstrative experience in delivering projects of this nature successfully. You will be a flexible Project Manager and an excellent communicator. You must be able to persuasively and accurately communicate technical ideas and solutions to non-technical stakeholders. While the role is responsible for implementing digital solutions, the overall success of the projects will be measured by the impact on the lives of workers and citizens across Greater Manchester.

GMCA Digital is the digital arm of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and supports both internal initiatives and pan-Greater Manchester programmes such as this.
