We deliver high-profile, large-scale transport projects, and it’s our experts who provide the information and analysis to shape transport strategy. This is a busy and exciting time for us: under the devolution agreement and with Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in supporting growth and prosperity in the UK’s largest regional economy outside London. In this role you will assist the Property Services Function in all aspects of porterage and maintenance, helping TfGM employees and assisting with reception duties. You will also be responsible for the sorting of mail, building checks and assist in evacuations. You will work in partnership with all service users to ensure that the porterage duties are delivered consistently across the facility on a daily basis resolving any issues that may arise.

You will have excellent communications skills and be responsible and dependable and have experience of working as part of a team.

This role is part time working Monday and Tuesday. You will also work shift patterns which will be either 6.30am - 2.30am or 10:00am - 6:00pm.

The salary for this role is £18,240 - £19,947 per annum + 12.5% shift allowance. Salary on appointment will be dependant on your skills and experience.
