Your role:

GMCA are looking for an experienced project manager to join the programme team supporting the GM Children’s programme of work. The role will provide project management support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) area of work, helping Greater Manchester to deliver on the ambitions within the GM Children & Young People’s plan (2019-2022).

 

This is your chance to join a dynamic team sat within the Greater Manchester Public Service Reform team responsible for supporting a high-profile and important programme of work that seeks to improve the lives of all children & young people in Greater Manchester.

 

About you:

You will have a broad understanding existing processes around the Children’s Services system and public service reform principles. Knowledge of the SEND policy and practice area is also preferable. You will have a proven ability to develop deliver project activity within a complex policy environment and of working within a partnership or multi-agency context. You will have some experience of working alongside senior stakeholders in a high paced environment.
