Are you seeking an opportunity to be part of the team delivering the Greater Manchester Clean Air Plan to improve air quality and measuring its effectiveness? Are you keen to apply your evaluation and research skills to support an evidence-led approach to delivering air quality improvements in Greater Manchester?

As Evaluation Officer within our Research and Evaluation team, you will focus on developing and managing the evaluation of the Clean Air Plan programme to measure the effects that these schemes have on people’s lives. You will be working for a progressive organisation committed to taking an insight-led approach to delivering the Greater Manchester Transport Strategy 2040, and shaping future sustainable transport provision.

You will have a proven track record in the formulation and execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects, with experience in managing and delivering the evaluation of programmes. You will have the ability to see the bigger picture, and objectively evaluate options which may be both complex and technical.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be able to communicate effectively and influence a variety of audiences using your excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in transport, environment or health research would be desirable.

The salary range for this role is £40,555 - £45,646. Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
