Opportunity/Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Projects Officer to join the Contracts Team which is part of the Finance Directorate - a fast-moving, demanding and ever changing environment.

The team holds approximately 200 contracts which require annual delivery and monitoring of with the support of internal ancillary teams.

Successful Candidate Attributes
The post-holder will need to:

• Be highly organised & efficient to contribute to the role and other projects, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary, and contributing to the delivery of the team’s KPIs.
• Have experience of managing contracts with healthcare Providers and work to project management methodologies.
• Be enthusiastic and passionate for consistent service delivery to lead on a portfolio of contracts and support senior managers with contract and projects support. Be a focal point for enquiries as required.
• Be confident in a range of communication skills to correspond with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitment to a high level of customer service and reputation of the team.
• Hold personal integrity in high regard and be passionate about their standards of work.
• Possess the skills required to manage resilience in a highly demanding and challenging environment.

Applicants will require experience of working with contracts and/or delivery within project management environment. An understanding of NHS contract documents would be beneficial but is not essential.
This will be a varied role with opportunities to develop your skills, experience and knowledge base.
