Your Role
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity within our Organisational Business Support team for an Administrator/Receptionist. This role places you at the heart of our Bury Training and Safety Centre, where your contribution makes a significant impact. You will be tasked with providing exceptional administrative and reception services, supporting a diverse range of clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve extensive use of various corporate databases and Microsoft Office suite.

Coordinate front-desk activities, welcome visitors/staff positively and professionally as soon as they arrive. Direct visitors to the appropriate person/site area. An excellent customer service approach is essential both face to face and over the telephone.  This role may require flexibility around working patterns and may include occasional evening and weekend working.

We are looking for a candidate who exudes professionalism, can take the initiative, is focused on delivering excellent customer service, and possesses strong organisational skills to manage challenging workloads effectively.

About You
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a changing and dynamic environment. You should have proven experience in administration and customer service, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. Attention to detail is paramount. You must be capable of working to deadlines, prioritising workloads efficiently, and communicating effectively with both service users and internal and external stakeholders.
